Jon Laughton Until 2004, Jon was the Managing Director of a large successful high technology Manufacturing Company; his experiences at the sharp end of international business together with his own admission of having made ‘many mistakes’, supplemented a life-changing period of study for an MA in ‘Management Learning and Leadership’ at Lancaster University Management School that eventually led to him setting up his own Consultancy company – Ad Manum Consultants Ltd. Put simply he ‘wanted to give something back’! Jon is an acknowledged leader, people developer and an experienced practitioner in ‘leaning out’ manufacturing businesses and their supply chains. His interests include studying how leadership models evolve and interact with newer concepts such as the application of ‘complexity theory’ to organisations.
